Sandy founded Fit For A King with a belief in generous food and personal service. Forty years on, she remains closely involved, with Daniel helping lead the next generation.

What began with Sandy in 1986 has grown to cater for working days, family celebrations, weddings, memorials and important occasions across Sydney.
Our kitchens have called Carlton, Ramsgate and Rockdale home. In 2020, we moved to Sans Souci, where we prepare our catering today. Through each chapter, the family has stayed closely connected to the food and the service being delivered.
The work has taken us from smaller gatherings to large-scale sporting-venue food and beverage operations, corporate hospitality and high-volume service. Experience with staffing, preparation and logistics sits behind the practical advice we bring to each event.
A next chapter, together.
Daniel’s first job was as a kitchen hand in the family business. After gaining experience outside it, including in corporate management, he returned in 2024 to help lead its next chapter.
Sandy remains involved in the business she founded. It is a continuation of the family’s work, with a new generation bringing its experience to the same table.
